Lake Rules

It is necessary to have rules to protect the interests of anglers, and the fish. Please click here for a copy of the Lake Rules.

Holiday Costs

Our prices for 2008 are as follows:

1 week (7 days/nights) exclusive with Luxury Cabin - max of 6 anglers and their non-fishing guests - £1000.00
1 week (7 days/nights) exclusive fishing bivvied up (cabin not included) - max 6 anglers and their non-fishing guests - £850.00

£24.00 per 24hrs per angler bivvied up (min 48hrs)

Luxury Cabin £37.50 per 24 hrs plus £24.00 fishing per 24 hrs (min 48hrs) non-fishing guest welcome

( well behaved dogs welcome, please check when booking )

Also includes use of a small cabin for self-catering purposes with TV etc
Also use of separate Toilet & Shower facilities.

Cabin

This is a self-catering, one bedroomed cabin, and charges are fully inclusive of electric, gas, heating, etc..

Please note that most of the site is fully accessible to wheelchair users, and the cabin itself is also wheelchair friendly (including a 'wet floor' shower) and is suitable for disabled guests.

Thursday - Sausage, Mash, Veg and Onion Gravy
Friday - Fish, Chips and Peas

Disclaimer

Olivemead Lake is situated in the countryside, but also close to the M4 motorway. There is road noise, but this has proved not to be a problem with anglers in the past.

Directions to the lake

From Malmesbury

Take B4042 to Swindon - follow road for approximately 2 miles - take first right to Little Somerford - keeping on the same road drive through village towards Dauntsey - after a couple of miles you will come to two left hand junctions -take the second junction - Olivemead Lane.

From Chippenham
Take B4069 to Lyneham - drive through Sutton Benger and Christian Malford - keep on this road until you see a sign on your left to Dauntsey - turn left into Dauntsey - over the motorway bridge - take first right onto The Green - take second turning right - Olivemead Lane.
