Travelling
from M4 Junction 17 (Chippenham)
At
the roundabout take the 1st left to Lyneham (B4122).
Follow
signs to RAF Lyneham.
After
waste disposal, take the first left, on bend (B4069).
Go
through Sutton Benger, and Christian Malford.
After
2½ miles watch for Dauntsey sign, and turn left (just before right bend).
Go over motorway bridge, and take first right (at Dauntsey, on the 30 mph signs).
First
Lane on right is Old Sodom Lane, and take the second on right which is Olivemead
Lane.
Watch
for black and white B&B sign.
The
lake is 500 metres on left. You will see trees and windmill.
Travelling
from M4 Junction 16 (Swindon West)
Follow
signs to Wooton Bassett (A3102).
Straight
across 2 roundabouts heading for Brinkworth (B4042).
Turn
left at Three Crowns public house in centre of village.
Down
slope, and past school.
Bear
right and continue to T-junction, then turn left into Dauntsey.
First
left is Olivemead Lane.
The
lake is 500 metres on left. You will see trees and windmill.
Travelling
from Malmesbury
Take
B4043 to Brinkworth.
Turn
right at the Three Crowns public House.
Proceed
as above.
